There is a free version of courses and a premium one. The free courses require the users to complete Ad Quiz questions to get credit for the course. The premium users do not need to answer the Ad Quiz questions and get credits automatically by just answering the course questions.

As the courses on L/EARN are free, you can just answer the questions for each chapter and lesson to be automatically enrolled in a course. But if you want to save your progress and track your progress, you would need to sign up for the premium.

No, there are no deadlines for completing your courses. However, after being inactive for 30 days, you will need to restart the course to get credits for it.
